Frequently Asked Questions
Please see below for some of the most common questions asked. If you have any questions that are not listed here, please feel free to get in touch by sending a message here.
How do I book a session?
Please use the Booking form to choose your session, date and timeslot. If you have any discounts these can be applied at the checkout.
Do you offer discounts for referring friends and family?
Unfortunately we don’t currently offer discounts for referrals.
What if I can’t make a session? Do you have a cancellation policy?
Things can pop up last minute and we understand this. Please let us know as soon as possible if you cannot make a session and you can reschedule. Please note: no-shows will not be refunded.
What should I expect during my first massage therapy visit?
For your first visit you will need to spend a few minutes filling out a consultation form before the session begins. This will consist of general questions to establish which areas you would like to be worked on, if there are any conditions that need to be addressed, and to determine if massage is appropriate for you. You will also need to list any allergies you have, any medication you are on and any health concerns to be aware of.
Am I supposed to speak during my session?
Some people prefer to chat during their sessions while others prefer to stay quiet. There is no right or wrong, it is whatever you feel comfortable with. In many instances, people may feel more relaxed starting off talking, and as the massage progresses, enter quiet states of relaxation. Please do not be afraid to ask if you would like anything to be changed such as the temperature of the room, pressures, areas worked or your position etc. Please also let us know if you experience any pain or tenderness in any areas of the body that are being worked. We want you to be as comfortable as possible and to enjoy your sessions
Do I have to be completely undressed?
For a full body massage, most people get completely undressed. However, it is fine to leave your underwear on if you will be more comfortable during the session. We will work around the clothes you have left on as best as we can. You will have privacy to undress, get comfortable on the table and cover yourself with the sheet provided. If removing your clothes makes you too nervous and unable to relax, in order to get the optimal benefit from your session we recommend choosing either Reflexology or Indian Head massage.
I am pregnant, can I book a massage?
Although massage therapy is safe, it is not recommended to book a massage within the first trimester (12 weeks) of Pregnancy.
